A struggled victory in San Siro with Milan grabbing the victory to continue believing in the “revival” to see the new AC Milan. Highlight of the game is the return of Milan forward Mario Balotelli for his second term listed among the subs, but not playing.
It is new Milan player Colombian forward Carlos Bacca to open the score. In the 16th minute, Bacca defeating Empoli goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with a right footed shot in the center. The assist is by Luiz Adriano. This is the first goal by Bacca as a Milan player.
Empoli equalizing the score in the 20th minute. It’s the ex Milan player midfielder Riccardo Saponara to smack a left footed shot defeating goalkeeper Diego Lopez in the center. The assist is by Massimo Maccarone. It’s the second goal of the season by Saponara.
Things working out for Milan in the second half. In the 69th minute, AC Milan taking the lead again following a corner. It’s new Milan player Luiz Adriano to break the draw defeating goalkeeper Skorupski with a headed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura. It’s the first goal by Adriano this season in Serie A.
