What a thriller! The unthinkable happened. Cremonese who were in the last position defeated AS Roma on Tuesday 28 February 2023 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium in Cremona, Italy. Cremonese have reasons to celebrate enjoying the feeling of a victory in Serie A after 26 years. The last victory in Serie A was on March 31, 1996 (Padova 1-3Cremonese). This is the first victory of the season for Cremonese, and what a prestigious win, striking an important blow in terms of salvation. Spezia with eight points but last place left to Sampdoria. Cremonese scored the winner goal in the 83rd minute. Daniel Ciofani converted a penalty with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The feeling of the goal experienced not only by Ciofani but all the fans in the Stadium.
