It’s a black day at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with Inter not only defeated, but humiliated by Cagliari with a 1-4 result. Inter failing to win this home game going down to the 5th position while Cagliari who were in the 20th position jumped to the 15th position. Hey, hey, hey, precisely, talking about Cagliari coach Zdenek Zeman encouraging his players to win the game, and oh boy, the players responded with a great victory totally unexpected by Inter. The hero for Cagliari is midfielder Albin Ekdal scoring 3 goals taking the soccer ball as souvenir for his hattrick. Ekdal dedicating his goals to his girlfriend and friends watching from the tribune.
Inter’s nightmare starting in the 10th minute when Cagliari opened the score. It is forward Marco Sau to defeat Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner. A silence at the Meazza while the few Cagliari fans following the team increase their chant to encourage their players.

Cagliari fans while just few compared to the thousands Inter fans outpouring their support to the team.
Let’s put it this way. On paper, Inter were favorite to win considering they have a stronger squad and Cagliari were in the 20th position…..
A moment of hope for Inter arriving in the 18th minute with forward Pablo Osvaldo equalizing the score. The action starting with the assist by forward Rodrigo Palacio to Osvaldo defeating Cagliari goalkeeper Alessio Cragno with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner.
Inter suffering a major blow when Referee Guida gives a second yellow card to defender Yuto Nagatomo in less than 3 minutes! First yellow card in the 25th minute and the second one in the 27th minute resulting in the automatic red card. Inter remaining with 10 players.
Cagliari starting to believe in miracle when midfielder Albin Ekdal breaks the draw to put Cagliari again in the lead. In the 29th minute there it is Ekdal defeating Inter goalkeeper Handanoic with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.
Inspiration for Ekdal continuing and after 6 minutes, bam! There is the other goal. In the 34th minute, the assist by Victor Ibarbo to Ekdal finding his way to the goal with a right footed shot leaving Inter goalkeeper Handanovic wondering on his defense… Inter fans almost in disbelief …. what’s going on with Inter’s defense?
Say no more, the nightmare at the Meazza continuing for Inter while for Cagliari is a party time! In the 44th minute, Ekdal scoring his third goal of the match this time with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner. The goal following a corner conceded by Inter midfielder Danilo D’Ambrosio.

Good morning my friends! A spectacular Sunday morning waking up to check the newspapers! Hope you are doing well and watching the Serie A games. I love the front pages today from La Gazzetta dello Sport , Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport all three praising Juventus and Roma the leading force this season. Surely, you bet I agree that Juventus forward Carlos Tevez is just fantastic! Mamma mia, superb!
On the defensive side, headlines are for AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi defending his Milan. Oh well, come on, Milan are with the moral obligation to be among the top 3 teams considering they are not playing neither Champions League nor Europa League.
Here are the front pages from Italy main Sports newspapers La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport, and Tutto Sport from Sunday 28 September 2014

Benitez: “Napoli you could only win. A turnover is needed”
Hello my friends. Here is Italy Serie A PREVIEW Week 5 to be played on Saturday 27, Sunday 28, and Monday 29 September 2014. We are set for an interesting Round seeing the two way race for the Scudetto with Juventus and AS Roma leading the Serie A Table with 12 points each. Juventus are the only ones not conceding goals while Roma conceding just 1 goal. Juventus will play the away game against Atalanta while Roma playing the home game against Hellas Verona.
Critical situation is for NAPOLI winning only 1 game in this season and down to the 10th position. Pressure is for coach Rafael Benitez to win the away game against Sassuolo. Another defeat will be a major blow while seeing Juventus and Roma flying alone towards the Scudetto. Sassuolo also under pressure to win the home game to escape from the relegation zone.
Highlight in this round should be the “Derby of the Lantern” between Genoa vs Sampdoria.! A tactical skill needed to grab the victory for the bragging rights to rule Genoa. Will it be Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini or Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic to pick the effective tactic?
Another team under pressure is AC Milan despite not participating in any European competition, have not started well in the Serie A. The Rossoneri are relying now on forward Fernando Torres, but will it be enough? Where is the rebuilding of the defense. Milan and Cesena have conceded 8 goals each this season.
The top 3 scorers up to Round 3 are Parma forward Antonio Cassano, AC Milan Keisuke Honda, Inter forward Mauro Icardi, AC Milan forward Jeremy Menez, Inter forward Pablo Osvaldo and Palermo Franco Vazquez with 3 goals each.
