Hello my friends. Here are the 2017-2018 Serie A Week 18 Results for the Eighteenth Round on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December 2017.  I want to wish all of you a Happy Merry Christmas!   We will have the Coppa Italia Quarterfinals on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27.  There is no Christmas break and Round 19 will be played on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 December.

Napoli securing the first position  after recovering it  last week.   Napoli remaining the sole leader of the Serie A after defeating Sampdoria at the San Paolo Stadium.   Napoli reaching 45 points.    Final result is 3-2.  The historical goal by Napoli Captain Marek Hamsik surpassing the all-time goal record by Diego Armando Maradona with 115 goals, now Hamsik scoring 116 goals.

Juventus securing the second position after defeating AS Roma with a 1-0 at the Juventus Stadium.   Juventus reaching 44 points is only -1 point Napoli!   The race for the Scudetto suddenly turning from a three-way to a two-race.

A blow  the two Milan teams.  Inter losing the second consecutive game this season.  Last week, Inter lost the first position and went down to the third position which is a big disappointment.  Inter’s objective to win the Scudetto risking big time and even losing momentum.   AC Milan also losing their second consecutive game and is chaos!  Atalanta defeated AC Milan with a 0-2 result at the San Siro Stadium.

Serie A tickets

Lazio rocking big time at the Olimpico Stadium.  Lazio crushing  Crotone with a 4-0.  Lazio reaching 36 points.   Problem is for Crotone going down from the 16th to the 18 position in the relegation zone.

Good news is for SPAL.   There is a light at the end of the tunnel.   Spal ending with a 2-2 draw against Torino.  Spal escaping from the relegation zone climbing from the 18th to the 17th position.

Hello my friends. Here is the 2017-2018 Serie A Week 18 Preview for the Eighteenth Round on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 December 2017

It’s a thriller.    We have a fast track race towards the Scudetto and we might see a new leader.    Napoli taking back the leadership last week. Napoli reaching 42 points after defeating Torino at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium.  Inter lost the first position and went down to the third position.    Juventus climbing from the third to the second position reaching 41 and is now only -1 point below Napoli with 42 points.

The big match is Juventus vs AS Roma at the Juventus Stadium.   The other important match is Napoli vs Sampdoria.   In case of Juventus and Napoli winning their respective games, the status quo will remain the same.

Serie A tickets

Inter with 40 points will look to win the away game at the Mapei Stadium against Sassuolo.   Inter trying to avoid losing points to remain in the three way race for the Scudetto.
