Denmark win the UEFA Euro 2020 Quarterfinals defeating Czech Republic on Saturday 3 July 2021. Denmark qualified to the Semifinal and will play agaisnt the winner of Ukraine vs England. Denmark reaching the semi-final stage of the European Championship for the first time since 1992, with their 29 year gap between last four appearances the longest in the history of the competition. Denmark have already had seven different goal scorers in the Euro 2020. Highlight of the match is the dedication wishing a prompt recovery to Denmark and Inter player Christian Eriksen. A special victory also for Atalanta player Mikkel Damsgaard celebrating his 21st birthday with the qualification!!

Czech Republic win the UEFA Euro Round of 16 defeating Netherlands on Sunday 27 June 2021 at the Ferenc Puskás Aréna in Budapest. Czech Republic qualifying to the Quarterfinals!    A total upset for Netherlands who finished Group C winners while Czech Republic came third in Group D. Netherlands won all three games in the Round of 16 defeating Ukraine, Austria and North Macedonia just to fall down at Wembley. Czech Republic finished third in Group D with 4 points behind England and Croatia and caused the big surprise clinging the Quarterfinals against the favorites.
