🇮🇹 👉 Lazio won the Coppa Italia Round of 16 game on Thursday 19 January 2023 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Lazio conquered the Quarterfinals thanks to the goal by Felipe Anderson. Bologna tried throughout the second half without ever worrying goalkeeper Luis Maximiliano. Lazio controlled the guests and then looked for the restart. A match also in memory for Siniša Mihajlović, protagonist as a player and coach of the two teams. Mihajlovic’s widow and children were present and observed the video showing Sinisa’s career as player and coach at both clubs on a giant screen. As a player, Sinisa won the Serie A title with Lazio.
Mihajlović died of cancer at the age of 53 on 16 December 2022. Bologna was the last team coached by Sinisa until 6 September 2022.
Lazio advanced to the quarterfinals, where they will face Juventus.

Lazio scored the only goal of the match in the 33rd minute. Felipe Anderson defeated Bologna goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Pedro. The goal resulted from a mistake by Sosa who let Pedro blow the ball away.

Bologna is the team against which Lazio have played the most home matches in the Italian Cup without ever finding success: for the capitolini three defeats and two draws in five home matches against the rossoblùs in the competition.
