The situation for Cagliari is delicate and the immediate response to make a change is a must to get away from relegation. Special victory for Bologna players Adama Soumaoro and Jerdy Schouten scoring their first goal in Serie A.
AC Milan with a sprint race for the Scudetto race after their elimination in Europa League. AC Milan win the Serie A Week 28 game against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. Fiorentina failing to win the home game and risk going down in the relegation zone. The victory gives an added boost to the Rossoneri reaching 59 points being -6 points below Inter with 65 points and 1 pending game.
What a blow! Benevento winning the Serie A Week 28 game defeating Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. This is a shocking defeat for Juventus and a super away victory for Benevento. It was the battle of the two ex-AC Milan teammates Benevento Coach Filippo Inzaghi and Juventus Coach Andrea Pirlo. Bam! Inzaghi causing an upset and stopping Juventus on their quest to climb the Serie A Standing being now -4 points below AC Milan with 59 points and -10 points below Inter with 65 points and a pending game. Benevento ended 11 winless game reaching 29 points being 7 points clear of the relegation zone in the 16th position. Juventus were unbeaten in their previous five league games.
The problem is now for Juventus because Atalanta reached 55 points same as Juve and a positive goal difference of +31 each. Atalanta claiming the away victory defeating Hellas Verona with a 0-2 at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.
Another home defeat in this round is for Roma losing the game against Napoli. Both teams had 50 points each and it is Napoli to grab the 3 points. The status remain the same with Napoli reaching 53 points in the 5th position and Roma with 50 remain in the 6th position.
Sampdoria defeating Torino at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Torino not finding their way out remaining with 23 points in the 17th position and just +1 point above Cagliari with 22 points in the 18th position. It means, Torino risking to go down to the relegation zone…. Sampdoria reaching 35 points climbed to the 10th position being -3 points below Hellas Verona in the 9th position with 38 points.
