Hello my friends! Here are the Serie A Week 12 Results for the games on on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 November 2017.
The status quo in the leadership remaining the same. Napoli in the first position with 32 points after a goalless draw against Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. However, the race for the Scudetto is still a 3-way road with Napoli, Juventus, and Inter.
We have a change in the 2nd position. Juventus took over the 2nd position because Inter got a 1-1 draw. Juventus defeated Benevento claiming full 3 points at the Juventus Stadium while Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium was unable to defeat Torino.
Benevento is still the only team in the Serie A without a victory and losing all 12 games. It seems their return to the Serie B is almost a reality unless a miracle happens.
Bad news is for Genoa coach Ivan Juric sacked after losing the Derby. The 115th Derby della Lanterna won by Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium
Italy Head Coach Gian Piero Ventura has called up 27 players for the two 2018 World Cup playoffs against Sweden. Among the news is that Jorginho is called back after his last appearance with Italy on 6th June 2016 in the friendly game against Finland. Midfielder Alessandro Florenzi and forward Simone Zaza are back for the first time since October and November 2016. Good news is for striker Andrea Belotti, midfielder Marco Verratti and midfielder Daniele De Rossi are all back after missing FYR Macedonia and Albania matches in October due to fitness problems.
As informed by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the players will arrive on Sunday 5 November evening at Coverciano where they will train until Thursday when they depart for Stockholm. The day after the away leg, the Italian National Team will return to Italy and relocate to the Suning Centre in Appiano Gentile where they will prepare for the second leg.

Sassuolo failing to win the home game winning only 2 games this season compared to AC Milan winning 6 games. Despite this away victory, pressure is more for AC Milan because their objective to make it to the Champions League next season is getting complicated. Though, these 3 points help Milan jump from the 9th to the 7th position. The objective is to make it to the top 3 positions.
It is AC Milan to open the score in the 40th minute following a corner conceded by Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli. Defender Alessio Romagnoli defeating goalkeeper Consigli from close range with a headed shot in the top right corner. The assist is by Hakan Calhanoglu with a cross.
