The race for the Scudetto seems to be slowing down a bit. However, it’s clear that the competition has shifted from three teams to just two.
Inter holds the top spot with 68 points, while Napoli reached 65 points after the 1-1 draw against Bologna at the Dall’Ara Stadium. In a thrilling encounter at the Tardini Stadium, Parma pulled off an impressive comeback to draw with Inter. After being down 2-0 in the first half due to goals from Darmian and Marcus Thuram, Parma turned the tide in the second half. Bernabè scored in the 60th minute to cut the deficit, and Ondrejka equalized with a deflected shot in the 69th minute. The final score was Parma 2 – 2 Inter.
Tough home defeat. Atalanta failed to solidify their hold on third place. Lazio reach 55 points being -3 points below Atalanta. Lazio is eager to leapfrog Roma and secure a spot in the European zone.
The direct clash between Roma and Juventus concluded with a 1-1draw. Juventus, now at 56 points, retains a three-point lead over Roma, who have 53. Additionally, Juve is closing in on Atalanta, currently at 58 points. The Bianconeri took the lead in the first half thanks to a volley from Locatelli, but shortly after the second half began, Shomorudov, the new signing, equalized from a corner kick. The second half was marked by a lack of excitement, as both teams held their ground until the final whistle.

Milan’s inability to secure a win at home is truly disappointing. Both teams leave with a point, which feels like a setback for Milan’s hopes of advancing in the Champions League, now sitting at 48 points. Meanwhile, Fiorentina, with 52 points, temporarily closes the gap on Lazio.
Genoa has moved up to a 15-point cushion above the relegation zone, bringing them closer to their goal of survival after a rough start to the season. Meanwhile, Udinese remains stagnant at 40 points and hasn’t secured a win since March 1st. Genoa’s win was well-earned, as they were the more aggressive team throughout the match. However, there were tense moments at the end, including a disallowed goal by Rui Modesto and Pafundi’s protests over a potential foul in the box. After their loss to Juventus, Genoa is back on track, while Udinese faces their third consecutive defeat.
Hellas has successfully maintained a 7-point cushion above the relegation zone, bringing their total to 31 points and holding steady in 14th place. Torino has now joined Udinese in a tie for 10th place, both teams sitting on 40 points. In their upcoming match, Torino will travel to Como, where they will be hosted by Cesc Fabregas’ team. The game between Torino and Verona concluded with a 1-1 draw.
Como climbs to 33 points, pulling ahead of third-from-bottom Empoli by ten points, and secures crucial points in their fight for survival. Monza, however, remains at the bottom of the table, trailing ten points behind safety. This marks the second consecutive loss for Nesta’s squad, who have managed to collect just one point from their last six matches.
The game at the “Castellani” between Empoli and Cagliari concluded without any goals. It was a match that lacked excitement, with both teams seemingly more concerned about avoiding defeat. This was a missed chance for the Azzurri, who have not celebrated a victory since December, and they remain two points behind Lecce. On the other hand, the Rossoblù secured a valuable point, keeping a six-point lead over Empoli.

AC Milan and Fiorentina ended the Serie A Week 31 with a draw on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.
The match was filled with excitement and momentum shifts. Fiorentina quickly took a two-goal lead within the first ten minutes, thanks to an own goal by Thiaw and a strike from Kean. Milan fought back with a goal from Abraham and later equalized in the second half with Jovic’s effort. In the closing moments, both teams exchanged attacks, and Dodo found the net in the ninetieth minute, but Ayroldi ruled it out for offside.
Both teams have experienced a rollercoaster season and are eager to keep their hopes alive for a spot in a European cup.
To qualify for a European cup, Milan still has the opportunity to compete in the Coppa Italia, with a crucial semi-final return leg against Inter scheduled for the end of the month. Meanwhile, Fiorentina is advancing in the Conference League, where they will take on NK Celje in the quarter-finals.
Fiorentina gained an advantage in the 7th minute due to an own goal by Malick Thiaw. After Musah misplaced the ball in midfield, Mandragora seized the opportunity and passed it to Gudmundsson. As Gudmundsson charged into the box and attempted to cross it, Thiaw inadvertently redirected the ball into his own goal.

It’s not a great day for Milan. Fiorentina struck again in the 10th minute, with Moise Kean scoring from just a few feet away with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner, thanks to an assist from Dodô. Mandragora sent a ball from the three-quarter line into the area, and Dodô quickly passed it to the center, allowing Kean to score without any defenders around.

In the 65th minute, Luka Jovic leveled the score with a left-footed shot into the bottom left corner. Fikayo Tomori provided the assist, threading a pass through the lines. The Fiorentina defense, caught off guard, failed to notice Jovic sneaking in from behind, allowing him to find himself one-on-one with De Gea, whom he successfully beat.
