The Belgian forward managed to hold off Pavlovic’s challenge before slotting the ball past Maignan at the near post.

Napoli increased their advantage in the 43rd minute when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scored with a powerful right-footed shot into the bottom right corner. Mathías Olivera provided the assist. It was a fantastic individual effort from number 77, who made a run from the left, cut back to the right, evading Emerson Royal and Fofana before unleashing a strong shot to the far post that Maignan couldn’t stop. The Azzurri double their lead.
