Hello my friends. Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 24, 2013 – 2014 Season on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 February
2014, matchday 24.
Juventus keeping the sole leadership of the Serie A Table despite the results of the other games. Juventus having a +9 gap points ahead of AS Roma holding the second position. It’s a fact that Juventus continue to dominate the Serie A sending Chievo Verona to relegation zone. Juventus defeating Chievo at the Juventus Stadium with a 3-1. It’s bad news for Chievo because they went down from the 17th position to the 19th.
AS Roma increasing the speed to keep up the race for the Scudetto with Juventus. A great game for forward Mattia Destro scoring 2 goals against Sampdoria. Not a good result for Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mijhalovic.
AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf surviving thanks to the goal by forward Mario Balotelli defeating Bologna at the San Siro Stadium. The victory giving a boost to the morale of the team for the UEFA Champions League game against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday 19 February in San Siro. AC Milan 1 – 0 Bologna
Inter causing an upset at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. Fiorentina losing the home game despite the equalizer goal by midfielder Juan Cuadrado responding to the opening goal by Inter forward Rodrigo Palacio. Inter claiming the full 3 points thanks to the goal by forward Mauro Icardi who came as a substitute in the 55th minute for Diego Milito. The victory helps Inter to keep the 5th position. Fiorentina will play the Europa League game against Esbjerg on Thurday 20 February at the Blue Water Arena, Esbjerg, in Denmark. Fiorentina 0 – 1 Inter
It’s a mega surprise and party time in Catania because they are no longer in the last position! Catania jumping from the 20th to the 18th position after defeating Lazio at the Angelo Massimino Stadium. Sassuolo now are in the 20th position after being defeated by Napoli at the Mapei Stadium.
Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position with 63 points and a positive goal difference of +40. AS Roma in the 2nd position… Napoli in the 3rd position with 50 points and a positive goal difference of +22.
The Europa League zone. Fiorentina
in the 4th position with 44 points and a positive goal difference of
+17. Inter in the 5th position with 39 points and a positive goal difference of +14

Hello my friends. Here is the Serie A PREVIEW for
the
Serie A Week 24, 2013 – 2014 Season on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Sunday 16, and Monday 17 February
2014, matchday 24.
The race for the Scudetto continuing this week with a two way competition between Juventus and AS Roma. Last week, Juventus and Roma ended with draws their respective games. Yet, Juventus keep the sole leadership because they have a +9
gap ahead of Roma holding the second position (with one pending game.)
Hellas Verona – Juventus ended with a 2-2 draw.
Juventus keep same gap with Roma because the Derby della Capitale also
ended with a draw Lazio 0- 0 Roma. The challenge this week is for Juventus to keep winning to extend their leadership and for Roma not giving up.
Inter with the challenge to keep the 5th position remaining in European Zone. Hellas Verona might take over the 5th position if they defeat Torino at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi and hope for Inter to lose the away game against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
We might see Catania leaving the last position of the Serie A in case of defeating Lazio in the home game at the Angelo Massimino Stadium. This also depends on whether Livorno and Sassuolo lose their respective games.
Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position 60 points and a
positive goal difference of +38. AS Roma in the 2nd position with 51
points and a positive goal difference of +34. Napoli in the 3rd
position with 47 points and a positive goal difference of +120 The Europa League zone. Fiorentina
in the 4th position with 44 points and a positive goal difference of
+18. Inter in the 5th position with 36 points and a positive goal difference of +13
Relegation Zone: Livorno in the 19th position with 17
points and a negative goal difference of -19. Catania in the 20th
position with 16 points and a negative goal difference of -24.
Up to Round 23, Week 23 most scored goals in favor: Juventuns scoring 56 goals
Up to Round 23, Week 23 most scored against: Sassuolo conceding 49 goals Top scorer up to Round 23: Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi with 14 goals

Hello my friends. Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 23, 2013 – 2014 Season on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 February
2014, matchday 23.
Napoli keeping up the race for the third position. Surprisingly, AC Milan opening the score at the San Paolo Stadium with the new Milan player Adel Taarabt. Yet, Napoli not giving up and they won the game thanks to the equalizer goal by Gokhan Inler and the two goals by forward Gonzalo Higuain. A blow for AC Milan still not finding consistency. Napoli 3 – 1 AC Milan
Another great result is for Udinese! Yep, Udinese highly motivated after defeating Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia Semifinal and today defeating Chievo Verona in Serie A. A majestic Captain Antonio “Toto” Di Natale pushing the bandwagon and scoring to the delay of the fans. It’s a victory keeping Udinese away of the relegation zone. Chievo will have to reinvent themselves or risk falling in relegation. Udinese 3 – 0 Chievo Verona
Juventus keeping the sole leadership in the Serie A. Juventus have a +9 gap ahead of Roma holding the second position (with one pending game.) Surprisingly, Hellas Verona – Juventus ended with a 2-2 draw. Juventus keep same gap with Roma because the Derby della Capitale also ended with a draw Lazio 0- 0 Roma. Highlight of the game seeing the return of Lazio Captain Stefano Mauri after 8 months!
Inter – Hellas Verona. It is the first victory of Inter in 2014! A goal by defender Walter Samuel in the 48th minute giving the victory to Inter. Sassuolo battled, but could not reach the draw remaining in the relegation zone. Inter jumping from the 6th to the 5th position.
Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position 60 points and a positive goal difference of +38. AS Roma in the 2nd position with 51 points and a positive goal difference of +34. Napoli in the 3rd
position with 47 points and a positive goal difference of +120 The Europa League zone. Fiorentina
in the 4th position with 44 points and a positive goal difference of
+18. _____________________________________.
Relegation Zone: Livorno in the 19th position with 17 points and a negative goal difference of -19. Catania in the 20th position with 16 points and a negative goal difference of -24.
Up to Round 23, Week 23 most scored goals in favor: Juventuns scoring 56 goals
Up to Round 23, Week 23 most scored against: ______________________________ Top scorer up to Round 23: Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi with 14 goals
