Estra confirmed as Energy Partner and sleeve sponsor for Fiorentina men’s, women’s and U19 teams

ACF Fiorentina and Estra SpA are delighted to announce the continuation of their 11-year partnership.

The Viola’s Energy Partner – one of Italy’s leading groups in the gas and electricity sector – will feature on the left sleeve of matchday kits for the men’s, women’s and U19 teams for the 2020/21 season.

After two years with the Viola Primavera – and two U19 Coppa Italia triumphs – Estra has decided to support the women’s side too.

The sport and business combo is a key component of the Estra Group’s communication strategy and the company’s values – dynamism, team spirit, team work and responsibility – make it a natural fit in the world of sport. Through Estra Sport Club the group has for years been involved not just in football but also in many other minor sports, helping thousands of youngsters to further their development in set-ups that aim to train them as athletes while teaching them sound values. Estra shares this vision with the Fiorentina youth academy and from this season will stand alongside the women’s team too.

“We are proud to continue offering our support to Fiorentina and help further develop the women’s game,” said Estra CEO Alessandro Piazzi. “Women’s football is becoming increasingly popular among youngsters and families, and especially in our region thanks to the efforts of Fiorentina – the first club in Italy to believe in its potential.”

Fiorentina CEO Joe Barone commented: “Estra is continuing to support us during a key time for our growth and is doing so across the board by working alongside the men’s, women’s and youth teams. We share core values and are delighted to have such a long-standing, constructive relationship which provides tremendous support to our projects.”
