Lazio win the 2018 – 2019 Coppa Italia Final on Wednesday 15 May 2019 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium defeating Atalanta with a 0 – 2 . A thriller for Lazio as the goals arrived in the last part of the game to claim their 7th Coppa Italia. The last time Lazio won the Coppa Italia was in 2013. Lazio celebrate also earning a spot in the Europa League next season.
The highlight of the match and a well deserved ovation is for Lazio Coach Simone Inzaghi winning his first Coppa Italia as Lazio’s coach. Inzaghi won the Coppa Italia as a Lazio player three times. You bet, Inzaghi’s joy is superb as giving this special gift to Lazio fans.
It is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to open the score in the 82nd minute defeating Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini with a headed shot. Atalanta could not react, and Lazio increased the score in the 90th minute to claim the victory with the goal by Joaquín Correa.
