Congratulations to Merih Demiral selected as Player of the Month, Demiral triumphs again after collecting the award in January and wins the ItalianOptic Player of the Month for the second time this season.
As reported by Atalanta website, Demiral‘s outstanding displays and superb tackles allowed him to win the ItalianOptic Player of the Month again. Atalanta have three kept clean sheets in March in the matches against Genoa, Bologna and, in the UEFA Europa League away game against Bayer Leverkusen. The game against Leverkusen allowed Atalanta the qualification for the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals and that also allowed Merih Demiral to be named Player of the Week of the competition.

The other finalist is Colombian forward Luis Muriel. Last month, Muriel found again the joy of scoring goals: one assist and two goals in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 16 against Bayer Leverkusen. Thanks to that fantastic display, the Colombian player won the title of Player of the Week in the competition on that day.
