Although the number 17 traditionally brings bad luck in Italian folklore, it’s never been too unkind to Roma. In fact, to give you one example, Roma won their eighth Coppa Italia on May 17, 2007 beating Inter in a memorable two-legged final. And there’s another 17 which is synonymous with celebrating the Scudetto: June 17, 2001, Roma v Parma, the day the Giallorossi secured their third Serie A title.
