MILAN – The squad ran through its final training session at Milanello on Friday morning ahead of the Round 16 Serie A match away to Roma.The session began at 11.00 on the central pitch at the club’s training centre. The first part of the session involved a warm-up which included running, exercises for the upper and lower limbs and stretching. Following the warm-up, the players focused on tactics across a full size pitch and this was the main focus of the morning training session.Individuals: Alex took part in the entire training session with the rest of the squad. Mattia De Sciglio did a warm-up with the use of the obstacles, stretching and then worked on his personalised fitness programme.The President Silvio Berlusconi also made a visit to the playing squad on Friday, his 16th of the season. Ahead of the match against Roma, these were the motivational words from the President: "As with regards to the Roma match, it’s fundamental. Congratulations for the match against Napoli, it was stupendous. Take to the pitch knowing you are stronger. I would never change our squad with theirs. At the Olimpico there is the athletics track in the middle, so it shouldn’t let you be intimidated by the support, it’s far away. You are in a position to be able to take to the pitch and show you are stronger.
