After yesterday’s double workout, Rudi Garcia’s men got back down to work at the Centro Sportivo Fulvio Bernardini this morning as they continue their long build-up to the big Serie A kick-off.

The Giallorossi are currently preparing for the Gamper Trophy against Barcelona, to be played at the Camp Nou at 22:00 CEST tomorrow night.

The squad began with a warm-up around 9:00 before carrying out a long phase on tactics and ending with a match on a short pitch. Meanwhile Kevin Strootman followed a personalized program. Seydou Doumbia sustained a bruised foot in this morning’s session and will miss the trip to Barcelona as a precaution.

The team will fly to Catalonia tomorrow morning ahead of their showcase match against the European champions and a reunion with former Roma coach Luis Enrique.
