Radja Nainggolan has today expressed his delight with the look of AS Roma’s beautiful new 2015-16 away kit.

The Belgian international midfielder, who last week committed his future to Roma after 18 months of being co-owned by Cagliari, will wear the new Nike away kit this coming season, much to the delight of the Giallorossi fans.

“The shirt is a lovely creation,” declared the combative midfielder who was recently voted the club’s 2014-15 Player of the Season by supporters on the official AS Roma website. “It shows the city of Rome and I hope it brings us luck.”

The new Nike away kit – consisting of white shirts, complete with a map of Rome across the front, and red shorts – was unveiled to the public today and has also proved a hit with Nainggolan’s team-mates Francesco Totti and Alessandro Florenzi.

“It’s beautiful,” enthused club captain Totti about the kit which will be available for pre-sale via asroma.it from June 30th, and on sale from nike.com and Nike and AS Roma official retailers from July 2nd. “I’ve always liked the white kit because our club colors, yellow and red, show up really well against the white.”

Totti’s views were echoed by fellow local boy and Curva Sud favourite Alessandro Florenzi, who added: “I love the fact that it shows a map of the city. It’s a nice touch.”
