Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique believes Roma will be a completely different prospect in the Champions League tomorrow evening than the team his players defeated in the Gamper Trophy on August 5.
During his pre-match press conference, the Spaniard made a point of saying the Giallorossi have added to their squad since that game and the difference can already be seen from their excellent start to the season, especially the win against Juventus.

“No, because that was a pre-season game in the Camp Nou and didn’t have the same intensity that you get when things start to matter. Also, since then Roma have made some key signings that have strengthened their squad. The match in August did not feature in our preparations for tomorrow.”
What are you expecting from Roma at the Stadio Olimpico?
“I think we’ll see a similar Roma side to the one that beat Juventus in Week 2 of Serie A. The Giallorossi were superior to the current Italian champions in every aspect of the game on that day. I’m expecting a team that presses well, keeps hold of possession and creates chances in front of goal.”
