Gianluca Rocchi has been selected to referee Bologna v Roma, the Serie A Week 13 match kicking off at the Stadio Dall’Ara on Saturday (18:00 CET).

It will be the 33rd time Rocchi – who is part of the Florence refereeing section – has presided over a Roma league match. The Giallorossi have won 13, drawn ten and lost nine of those games.

Rocchi’s first time presiding over Roma came on 18 December 2005, when Luciano Spalletti’s Giallorossi side drew 1-1 away at Sampdoria. Francesco Totti had put Roma ahead on 15 minutes, but Francesco Flachi equalised for the home side after the break.

Meanwhile, the last time Rocchi took charge of the Giallorossi was back on 10 October 2014, when they were defeated 3-2 by Juventus in Turin. Totti and Juan Manuel Iturbe scored for Roma that day.

Rocchi’s assistants on Saturday will be Vuoto and Crispo, with De Pinto the fourth official. Massa and Baracani will be the additional assistants.
