The Giallorossi tried to find an equalizer right up till the death, after the hosts  took a three-goal lead into the break (Stasevich 8, Mladenovic 25, 30).

Roma’s second-half goals came courtesy of Gervinho (66) and Torosidis (82), before Florenzi’s effort cannoned back off the crossbar in the closing stages of the game.
