The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has designated Referee Andrea Gervasoni to direct the Serie A Week 3 game Frosinone vs AS Roma on Saturday 12 September 2015 at the Matusa Stadium in Frosinone, Italy at 18:00. Gervasoni will be assisted by Francesco De Luca and Giacomo Paganesi while fourth official is Fabiano Preti. The additional assistants are Tagliavento and Baracani.
- Gervasoni, from the Mantova refereeing section, will direct the 13th time a game involving the Giallorossi. Stats showing Roma have won eight, drawn three and lost just one of the previous 12.
- Gervasoni first met Roma on December 22, 2007, when Luciano Spalletti was the coach. Game ending Roma 2 – 0 Sampdoria with a brace from Francesco Totti at the Olimpico Stadium.
- The Roman gladiators were most recently officiated by Gervasoni on April 19 this year. Francesco Totti was once again on the score sheet at the Olimpico as Rudi Garcia’s side were held to a 1-1 draw by Atalanta, with German Denis scoring for Atalanta.
