Match Officials: Antonio Damato to referee Palermo v Roma, Sunday 4 October 2015

Antonio Damato has been selected to referee the Serie A 2015-16 Week 7 match between Palermo and Roma. The contest will take place at the Stadio Renzo Barbera in Palermo on Sunday October 4, with kick-off set for 15:00 CEST.

Damato, who is part of the Barletta refereeing division, has officiated matches involving the Giallorossi on 22 occasions, with Roma winning 11, drawing four and losing seven of those games.

Damato’s first match involving Roma came on September 2, 2007, when Luciano Spalletti’s Giallorossi side beat Siena 3-0 at home thanks to goals from Alberto Aquilani, Ludovic Giuly and Francesco Totti. Meanwhile, Damato most recently officiated a Giallorossi match on May 3, 2015, when Rudi Garcia’s side defeated Genoa 2-0 at the Olimpico courtesy of Seydou Doumbia and Alessandro Florenzi.

Assisting Damato in Palermo on Sunday will be Meli and Crispo, while La Rocca is set to be the fourth official. Guida and Di Paolo are the additional assistants.
