World Cup: Cuadrado on target as Colombia rout Japan

< ![CDATA[
Juan Guillermo Cuadrado helped Colombia beat Japan 4-1 at the World Cup last night as the Colombians ran out as clear Group C winners with nine points. The Fiorentina forward converted from the spot in the first half to score his fifth goal for Colombia in 31 appearances.

Cuadrado has now played an active part in four of Colombia’s goals in this summer’s competition (one goal and three assists): only France’s Karim Benzema and Colombian team-mate James Rodriguez have been involved in more (five apiece).

Despite only playing the first 45 minutes against Japan, Cuadrado won the ball back four times yesterday – more than any other player.
