The defender said: “I’ve missed playing and now that my ban has finished I can’t wait to get back out there in the league as well. We played well today, like we did in the league match.” Fiorentina will now face Juventus in a two-legged semi-final. “If we want to lift the cup we have to beat the best teams,” he commented. “It will be a great battle against a very tough opponent. “Why didn’t I join Juventus? Because I signed for Fiorentina and I’m happy with my choice. I’m young and I can develop into an even better player here. “Three or four-man defence? It doesn’t change much to me.
