Fiorentina is gearing up for a thrilling race to reach the top of the standings.  Fiorentina beat Juventus in Serie A’s Week 29 on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.  What a fantastic win for Fiorentina, giving their spirits a significant lift! It was yet another enchanting evening for the Viola as they triumphed over Juventus with a score of 3-0. The race for the Champions League is heating up, bringing several teams back into contention. Fiorentina now sits at 48 points, just 5 points behind Bologna, who is currently in fourth place. Juventus remains stagnant at 48 points.

The Bianconeri struggled to make an impact in the attack and failed to pose any real threat to goalkeeper David De Gea.  The match featured two goals in the first half from Robin Gosens and Rolando Mandragora, followed by a third from Gudmundsson in the second half.

Fiorentina enters this match on a high note, having secured a spot in the Conference League quarterfinals after defeating Panathinaikos. Meanwhile, Juventus is looking to bounce back from a tough 0-4 loss at home to Atalanta.

The match …

Fiorentina opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Robin Gosens found the back of the net with a left-footed shot aimed at the bottom left corner. The opportunity arose after Weston McKennie conceded a corner. Cataldi delivered the corner kick into the box, where Gosens managed to navigate through the crowd and outsmart goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

Rolando Mandragora scored in the 18th minute with a left-footed strike into the bottom right corner, assisted by Nicolò Fagioli. Fiorentina swiftly increased their lead when Fagioli delivered the ball to Mandragora on the wing, and the midfielder skillfully shot diagonally with his left foot, beating Di Gregorio.

Juventus is struggling at the Franchi! In the 53rd minute, Albert Gudmundsson found the net with a powerful right-footed shot aimed at the bottom right corner. Nicolò Fagioli provided the assist, delivering the ball to Gudmundsson from the three-quarter line. The Icelander then unleashed a fantastic right-footed strike that nestled just inside the post to Di Gregorio’s left.
