Fiorentina announced the Raffaele Palladino is the new Coach on Tuesday 4 June 2024. Palladino, 40 years old, is replacing coach Vincenzo Italiano. Palladino has signed a two-year contract with Fiorentina, with an option for an extra year. Palladino is a former Italy international, he began his coaching career with Monza U19s in 2021. In September 2022 he was handed the reins of the first team and steered them to a historic 11th-place finish in Monza’s first-ever Serie A campaign.

Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso said, “I am very happy and proud to be able to welcome Raffaele Palladino to the club as our new coach – an appointment which comes just a few days after the end of the season, enabling us to plan properly for the coming campaign.”

“Raffaele believes very much in our plans for the club and chose Fiorentina despite receiving many other offers. I hope that with his enthusiasm, ambition and strong work ethic, we can enjoy many successful times together.”
