Pasqual, Montella: “Great atmosphere in the build-up. Benitez more experienced in cup finals”

Vincenzo Montella and Manuel Pasqual addressed the media at the Stadio Olimpico this evening ahead of tomorrow’s 2014 Coppa Italia final.

Montella: “Who won’t be available for the game? I’ll have to take a look at Neto tomorrow. Rossi is training with us and he’s really up for it. Gonzalo is ok again now and so is Borja Valero. Gomez is not training with the team, so it’s unlikely we’ll see him tomorrow. The atmosphere? Expectations are high in Florence, the build-up’s been great. I don’t have Benitez’s experience in cup finals but I hope my lack of experience can be an advantage for Fiorentina. We’ll have had a good season even if we lose tomorrow.”

Pasqual: “What’s the build-up been like within the Fiorentina camp? It’s been a different week to normal, there’s a lot of enthusiasm. We’ll start feeling the tension now. Visiting the Pope? A wonderful experience. He’s trying to bring people closer to the church again. A special moment to be captain? I’m a veteran of the side but this is the first time I’ve been able to play in a final. An Italy call-up? I hope to make it hard for Prandelli to leave me out.”
