Vincenzo Montella held a press conference this afternoon ahead of tomorrow evening's Serie A match with Chievo.

The coach said: "We have to try and beat Chievo, even though we know they're in desperate need of points. It's my job to put out the best team possible.

"Gomez back on the goal trail? It's important that he's found his stride again. It's good for morale and he's getting back to full fitness now too.

"Why didn't Cuadrado play against Juventus? It was a tactical choice. He might have come on during the game but two of the three substituions I made were forced upon me so I didn't get the chance to bring him on."
