ACF Fiorentina is pleased to announce that the transfer of Mario Suarez Mata from Club Atletico de Madrid has now been completed. Born in Madrid (Spain) on 24 February 1987, after coming through Atletico’s academy Suarez spent spells at Valladolid, Celta Vigo and Mallorca. The midfielder amassed 183 appearances in total with the Colchoneros and won the Copa del Rey, the Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup.
