Why did you choose Fiorentina?
“Because of the way the Viola have played in the last two seasons. Florence is also beautiful from a footballing point of view.”

Did Gomez convince you?
“No, I spoke with Jovetic. Stevan spoke very well of Florence.”

What will your role be?
“I adapt very well to the coach’s needs. I can play on the left, on the right or behind the front men.”

What is your personal objective?
“I’m looking for continuity. I’m sure you’ll see the best Marin on the pitch again.”

How have your first days been with the Viola?
“I have been very warmly welcomed by my team-mates and the fans in the city.”

How far can this Fiorentina team get?
“I hope we can go far. I’ve been impressed by the style of football from Montella’s team.”

Did you choose the number eight jersey for a particular reason?
“No, I only spoke about it with Jovetic.”

When will we see the real Marin on the pitch?
“I already feel good. I should be training with the rest of the team in about two weeks.”

Were you disappointed not to have been part of the Germany team at the World Cup?
“I was disappointed, but I was nevertheless happy for my national team.”

What do you think of Montella?
“He’s a fantastic coach. I hope I can win something with him.”

“I am lucky to speak Serbian, Spanish, English and German; this makes everything easier.”

“I was always fascinated by Savicevic’s style of playing.”
