Franco Mastantuono Player of the Month for September 2026
Franco Mastantuono earned the distinction of being named Fiorentina‘s official Player of the Month for September 2026. The 19-year-old Argentine winger, who arrived at the Italian club in August 2026 on a loan deal from Real Madrid, secured this recognition by delivering an outstanding performance that revitalized his season.
During Fiorentina’s 4–2 away triumph against Venezia FC on September 11, 2026, Mastantuono put on an impressive display. He found the back of the net three times—with two of those goals coming within just two minutes of each other—establishing himself as the youngest player ever in Fiorentina’s history to achieve a Serie A hat-trick.
In a remarkable achievement, Mastantuono surpassed Lionel Messi’s record. At 19 years and 28 days old, his three-goal performance became the youngest age at which an Argentine player has scored a hat-trick across Europe’s top five leagues. Fantastic accomplishment for Mastantuono!
That’s fantastic, Franco Mastantuono! Huge congratulations on being named Player of the Month for September 2026. You’re doing an amazing job—keep up that excellent work!
