Fiorentina has partnered with the Scuola Internazionale di Comics – Academy of Visual Arts and New Media – to create a brand-new mascot for the club.

Founded in 1979, the Scuola Internazionale di Comics is an important part of the fabric of the city of Florence. And now, students of the institution are hard at work channelling their talent and creativity into this ambitious new project.

Serious or playful? Young or old? Noble or playful? How will the new mascot look? The club will of course have the final say on all these questions, but the Viola fans will be able to express their preference on social media starting in July too.

It is hoped that the initiative – and the partnership with the Scuola Internazionale di Comics – will encapsulate some of the values held dear by the new Fiorentina owners: talent, youth, creativity, unity with the local area and passion.
