YOUTH SECTOR DERBY, CRISTIAN BROCCHI: “We’re working to improve”

< ![CDATA[MILAN – Speaking after today’s youth sector derby, the Primavera coach Cristian Brocchi reflected on the positives despite falling to a defeat: "Inter’s physicality was influential and is greater than ours. They have lots of physical strength. I am however happy because until the sending-off of De Santis we played a good match. It’s not easy to go 2 goals down in a derby and then recover. Let’s not forget our players are younger. I’m not happy about the result, which is not a fair reflection of the match. We believed in the draw but going down to 10 men was decisive and everything fell apart.Unfortunately when you try to ask your players to continue playing and not give the ball away, you run into days when the tension and the result condition everything. I am happy however with how they reacted, they’re younger than the Inter players and they were good in their reaction.I don’t like to talk about the absences. I evaluate the players available. They’re lads that have great qualities. We’re working to improve, today the big test was Inter’s physicality."]]>
