Here are the declarations by AC Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura and Diego Lopez to the Milan Channel.

Bonaventura: “The team’s results this season haven’t been the greatest, but on a personal level, it hasn’t been a bad season. I am sure that come next year we will be fighting at the top of the table. There are some excellent managers here that know and will do all they can to take the club to the top. We all could have done a bit better this year and I also don’t think that we deserve this position in the league table. Coach Inzaghi has been important for me because he had confidence in me right away and he helped me settle in right away in a big team. He’s a person with the right ideas, unfortunately he has also endured an unlucky year. Italian national team? I want to be at Euro 2016, but it depends on how you perform with your club side.”

Diego Lopez: “We want to win against Torino. It’s the last match of the season at the San Siro in front of our fans and we have to win, also for our pride. Next season we have to start off again from July to have a much better season. Magni is one of the most important people for me: his role at Milan has helped me improve a lot and above all in the minor details, along with the rest of the staff and my goalkeeping colleagues.”
