Milan boasts over 24 million fans on Facebook, over 3 million followers on twitter, nearly 300.000 people registered on its YouTube channel and over 5 million fans on Google+. What’s more, the club has received great feedback and results from its social network feeds in Asia where the club has dedicated accounts in Chinese and which were launched in occasion of the club’s tour to the country in July 2015. Milan find themselves in 8th place in the international ranking and first in Italy.
And now Milan have reached the 2 million followers mark on Instagram, the latest achievement in the club’s digital strategy launched in recent years, which aims to provide exclusive content and reduce the gap to the fans spread all over the world.
Every day fans can catch a glimpse of life at the club through Instagram, getting the latest from the inside through selected images and videos which don’t just focus on the first team but the entire Milan family. From past greats that wrote memorable pages in the club’s history to celebrity fans as well as other areas of the club like HQ Casa Milan and its innovative and modern Mondo Milan Museum, Milan Store and Cucina Milanello Restaurant, not to mention exclusive content from the first team at home and on the road, from San Siro to the away grounds across Italy.
The total content posted on the account @acmilan so far stands at 1265, which includes 1200 photos and 65 videos, with around 42.000.000 likes and 455.000 comments.
