🏆 👉   Mission Accomplished!  AC Milan win the Champions League Group Stage Group E Matchday 6 game against Salzburg and qualified for the Round of 16 on Wednesday 2 November 2022 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  Great moment for AC Milan to return to the Champions League Round of 16 after 9 years and it’s a big partyin San Siro for the Rossoneri fans. Surely, a well deserved celebration. Third place in the group, won by Chelsea, instead for Salzburg which thus slips into the Europa League.

Milan French forward Olivier Giroud authentic star of the evening with two goals and two assists. Brilliant! Milan, with this game, remain unbeaten in the 4 European matches against Salzburg (3W, 1D), all in the Champions League.

AC Milan opened the score in the 14th minute. French forward Olivier Giroud defeated Salzburg goalkeeper with a headed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Sandro Tonali following a corner conceded by Strahinja Pavlovic.

The party is all for AC Milan. Rade Krunić increased the score for the 2-0 with a headed shot to the bottom left corner.. The headed assist is by Olivier Giroud. Excellent combo with Giroud!
