AC Milan failed big time and lost the Champions League Group Stage – Group F, Matchday 3 on Wednesday 25 October 2023 at the Parc des Princes in Paris, France. Milan suffered their first defeat of this Champions League, a nightmare falling with a 3-0 which perhaps punishes the Rossoneri excessively who, however, are definitely struggling in attack. Paris Saint Germain made the most of the play of the individuals, Kyliam Mbappé first, Kolo Muani and Lee then, with the performance of seventeen-year-old Zaire Emery dominating, author of two assists combined with a lot of substance in midfield. Wondering where were Milan forwards, no goals!!!! Not a good signal.
Milan are now last in the group with only 2 points, given Dortmund’s success over Newcastle, but qualification is still open. PSG are in the 1st position with 6 points, there are only four points, with three games still to play.
✅ Congratulations Stefano Pioli for reaching 200 games with AC Milan (October 25, 2023)!!!! https://t.co/xdOeCmRBTE

✅ Stats before the game: Milan is the team against which Paris Saint-Germain has played the most matches without ever winning in the Champions League (four): two defeats in the 1994/95 season (semi-final) and two draws in the 2000/01 season (second group stage). Paris have won their last three matches against Italian teams in all competitions, beating Juventus both home and away in the group stage of last year’s Champions League. Before that, they had won only two of their first 20 matches against Italian teams (D9, L9). Milan have lost just three of their 16 Champions League matches against French opposition (W8 D5) – the 1993 final against Marseille, a 2002/03 group stage match in Lens, and at home against Lille in 2006/07 group stage. This is the first match of this kind since the Rossoneri won both matches against Auxerre in the 2010/11 season. Paris Saint-Germain lost 4-1 to Newcastle in their last match – they have not lost two consecutive matches in the same Champions League group stage since their first two matches in the 2004/05 season, which was the last time they he failed to progress to the round of 16 of the competition. Both of Milan’s Champions League matches this season ended 0-0. In the history of the competition, only Club Brugge had three consecutive goalless draws between November 2018 and September 2019, while the last time a team collected three 0-0 draws in the same group stage was in the 2005/06 season ( Lille, Liverpool, Manchester United and Villarreal).
🏆👉 Lineup PARIS SAINT GERMAIN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Škriniar, L. Hernández; Zaïre-Emery, Ugarte, Vitinha; Dembélé, Kolo Muani, Mbappé.
🏆👉 Lineup AC MILAN (4-3-3): Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, T. Hernández; Musah, Krunić, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leão.

Don't panic, Milan have 3 more games and they are almost forced to win them all to make it to the Round of 16. @Vergara1899 @SerieASitdown https://t.co/TvVZYihRXa
