MILAN YOUTH TEAM TWO GOALS NOT ENOUGH

 

The Milan youth team fell to a 3-2 defeat away at Chievo.

 

MILAN – Chievo scored a late winner to take all 3 points in the round 5 youth sector league match with Milan on Sunday morning.Zanellato found the breakthrough for the rossoneri on 9 minutes only for Chievo to come back and take a 2-1 lead thanks to goals from Kijine and Bartulovic.After causing problems for the home side early on, Vassallo connected with a splendid Turano cross to get his name on the score-sheet and take the two teams level into the break.

Vido set-up Hamadi with a good chance shortly into the second-half, but the latter was unable to get his effort on target.

Chievo very nearly risked conceding an own-goal on 64 minutes but instead, and in the dying minutes, N’Gissah scored the winner and condemned Cristian Brocchi’s team to a first away defeat of the season.
