Today the players train at 4pm in preparation for the match against Palermo
MILAN – The day after Sunday’s derby at the San Siro, the players were straight out on the training pitch to begin preparations for the next league match at home to Palermo.
The players that started the match with Inter went through a cool-down session which involved a light jog and stretching. They then ended the session indoors in the gym.
The rest of the playing squad started their session with a warm-up and stretching before doing technical and fitness drills over a series of work-stations which also involved the use of hurdles and obstacles.
Monday’s session continued with two practice matches. The first was 6 v 6 with goalkeepers and on a reduced size pitch. The players could only take two touches of the ball before moving it on and to score a goal could only take one touch of the ball. The final practice match was 7 v 7 and was with unlimited touches. Assistant coach Sakic joined in with the players for the final practice match.
