(IN THE PHOTO: the group is put through their paces at Milanello)MILANELLO – The rossoneri trained yesterday on the lowered pitch behind the gym at the Milanello Sports Centre. The players started with a warm-up which involved a jog around the pitch.After the warm-up, the players did some possession and keep-ball drills. Keisuke Honda meanwhile trained apart from the rest of the group and worked on his personalised training programme which involved some technical and fitness exercises on the raised pitch.The rest of the squad then took part in a practice friendly match of two 30 minute halves against Vergiatese who play in the Lombardy Eccellenza Division. This is how Milan lined up in the first-half:Sivero (Vergiatese goalkeeper); De Sciglio, Silvestre, Zapata, Felicioli; Essien, Muntari; Aniekan, Saponara, El Shaarawy; Petagna.The first-half ended 3-0 in favour of the rossoneri. The goals were scored as follows: El Shaarawy 5', Saponara 20' and Essien 28' (assist from El Shaarawy).In the second-half Gamarra and De Santis took the places of Essien and Muntari. Saporetti came on for El Shaarawy in the second-half. The match ended 4-0 with the last goal coming from Petagna. Goalkeeper Marco Amelia played the full match with the Vergiatese line-up.The players will train again today at midday.
