MILAN – Before facing the press earlier, Sinisa Mihajlovic gave an exclusive interview to the Milan Channel:

“I am happy with our form. We deserve recent results and we have to keep on this track. Winning should be the norm for Milan, not an exception. I think that our desire to improve is increasing along with our confidence and self-belief. Having said that, we need to keep our feet firmly on the ground as we still haven’t achieved anything. We have picked ourselves up and we need to keep it going. We cannot worry about the sides ahead of us, but rather focus on ourselves. We need to stay close to the teams above us and keep on winning. If we do our part, we will make up ground on the sides above us. Bertolacci isn’t playing at the levels he showed at Genoa, but I consider him a massively important player. I am certain that he will also help the team make that step-up to the next level. Unfortunately, he picked up an injury during his best moment with the club but he is a very important player for me. Bronzetti was a friend and a massively knowledgeable person of the game. He brought many players to Serie A and it is a huge loss to football. I take the chance to pass on my sincerest condolences to his family.”
