The Lega announcing the start dates for the 2015-16 Serie A season.    The new season will begin on the 23rd of August 2015 and end on the 15th of May 2016. The dates have been brought forward to give Italy coach Antonio Conte as much time as possible to prepare for the 2016 European Championships next summer.

The FIGC President Carlo Tavecchio has also announced that from next season Serie A will adopt goal-line technology. The issue will be discussed when the Lega Serie A meets on Friday the 13th of February.
