Here are the declarations by AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella as  reported by the official website.

SAMP
“It was the perfect weekend. Last 30 minutes against Samp we played with character. I was really pleased with it. We are proud of what we did and this is only the beginning”.

CURRENT SITUATION
“Six points in four matches are more or less what we were expecting. We are though disappointed we lost against Udinese”.

CAN BACCA BE THE LEAGUE TOP SCORER?
“It’s not that important. It’s more important to score with continuity.

Bacca’s goals speak for him. Against Samp he played really well, he came on with the right attitude”.

MORE PLAYERS FOR THE SAME ROLE
“It’s surely positive for the team. I am sorry Luiz Adriano is not playing that much, but I am sure he will have his chances and he will be useful to the team.

Gustavo Gomez’s attitude against Samp must be an example for everyone. He played only a few minutes but with the right attitude. My job is to motivate the players, especially those who don’t play a lot”.

CONCENTRATION
“Final minutes are always important, especially now that that the players are still not 100% fit. Mostly, it depends on whether you are concentrated or not. And this is also an aspect we are working on. Of course, the match is more intense than training”.

CONTINUITY
“I am convinced this team will find the right continuity. We have to look to the future without looking back to what happened in the past seasons”.

TACTICS
“It all depends on the team. Now we are doing fine like this, but throughout the season we can make some changes”.

Suso in Samp-Milan

THE PLAYERS
“Niang and Suso? They are both doing well, but I expect them to improve even more. I am pleased with what they are doing on the pitch.

Locatelli? He played well when he came on. He has improved a lot physically. He is young but has a strong personality and I am pleased with his improvement”.

INJURED PLAYERS
“Antonelli suffered a head injury, it’s not easy to know exactly when he will be ready.

De Sciglio? He is fine, yesterday he trained with the rest of the group and he can be called-up for tomorrow’s match”.

THE LEAGUE
“Italian league is very hard. Now I don’t want to think at where we are in the table. It’s better if we focus on how the team is performing and on our improvement”.

Gigio Donnarumma

DONNARUMMA
“He doesn’t have to worry: the Club will surely renew his contract”.

THE CLUB
“I haven’t spoken with Berlusconi. I speak a lot with Galliani, so the club’s feedback comes from him. The new management? The most important thing is that the management is supporting the team”.
