Italian Soccer Serie
The Italian Serie A stopped on Round 26 due to the Coronavirus COVID-19 global pandemic. Italian Footballers’ Association (AIC) president Damiano Tommasi says the Serie A season could resume in May or June. The 2019-2020 Serie A needs to complete 12 more rounds and four pending games to finish the season. The question is whether all games will be played in their respective stadiums, or will be played only in the Centro Sud area since the northern area was identified as the center of the two main Italian clusters who were placed under quarantine.
Do you agree? Serie A will resume SOON, hopefully in May. There are 12 more games to play and after COVID-19 they might not be played in the Northern areas such as Milano, Bergamo, Brescia and Cremona, but only in the Centro Sud area.
