Mission accomplished! 🔴⚫️  AC Milan triumphed in the Supercoppa Italiana Semifinal, defeating Juventus on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Alawwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This victory propels Milan into the Super Cup final, where they will face Inter on Monday, January 6. What a fantastic way to kick off the New Year 2025! Coach Sergio Conceiçao made his debut with the Rossoneri, achieving this significant win. Milan now has the opportunity to chase a title right from the start.

Meanwhile, Juventus is feeling the sting of disappointment. The Bianconeri were aiming for their tenth Super Cup trophy but saw their hopes dashed after initially taking the lead and ultimately losing the match.

Juventus opened the scoring in the 21st minute when Kenan Yildiz found the back of the net, getting the better of AC Milan’s goalkeeper Mike Maignan. After a low shot from Mbangula set him up, Yildiz skillfully maneuvered in the box and unleashed a powerful right-footed shot to the near post, putting the Bianconeri in front with their first opportunity of the game.

AC Milan found the equalizer in the 71st minute when Christian Mate Pulišić stepped up to take a penalty. He struck the ball with power, and although goalkeeper Di Gregorio anticipated the shot, he could only get a fingertip on it as it sailed into the net. Milan is back on level terms!

Wow, what a twist! AC Milan flipped the score in the 76th minute with an own goal from Federico Gatti. Musah raced down the right and aimed a cross for Pulisic on the other side. The ball deflected off Gatti and rolled into the net, leaving goalkeeper Di Gregorio completely bamboozled.
