Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
AC Milan 8th position with 38 points and a positive goal difference of +11
Hellas Verona, 15th position with 23 points and a negative goal difference of -27

AC Milan won the Serie A Week 25 match on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the iconic San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. Currently sitting in 8th place, Milan aims to rise in the standings and secure a spot in the European zone.

Milan beat Verona 1-0, the second consecutive victory in the championship for the Rossoneri. The result was unlocked in the second half in the 75th minute, with Santiago Giménez scoring a header on an assist from Leao.

In the next round of the championship for Milan, an away match on the pitch of Torino, Verona will face Fiorentina at home.

Santiago Giménez has made history by becoming the third player to find the net in both of his first two Serie A matches for Milan during the three points era. Following his goal against Empoli, he also scored against Hellas Verona. He joins the ranks of Andriy Shevchenko, who did it in September 1999, and Christian Pulisic, who achieved the feat in August 2023, as players who scored in their debut season in the competition.

The match …

AC Milan took the lead in the 75th minute when Santiago Giménez found the back of the net with a close-range header. Rafael Leão provided the assist, setting up the play with a clever pass. Giménez capitalized on the opportunity, directing the ball into an open goal.
