MILAN – Real Madrid have beaten Tottenham Hotspur in the first match of the AUDI Cup by 2-0 thanks to goals from James Rodriguez in the first half and former north London idol Gareth Bale in the second half.

Tomorrow Real will meet the winners of the match between Milan and Bayern Munich while Tottenham will play against the losers.
