MILAN – Filippo Inzaghi’s Primavera side got another three points from their 1-0 win away to Cagliari on Sunday.
Strong winds meant the team struggled to get a hold of the game in the first quarter of an hour but immediately on 15’, the Rossoneri got the game’s only goal through Pinato after a good exchange with Vido.
Milan almost made it two in the first half through Simic whose shot was just off target after good work from Modic. The only chance for the Sardinians came on 37’ but Cardia, despite being helped by the wind, was unable to beat the keeper.
Milan’s hold on the match was weakened after 20’ in the second half when Tamas was sent off for two yellow cards, but the team held on for another win.
