PAOLO DI CANIO CHARMS MILAN ahead of Serie A Week 26

The former striker has played his part in the history of Napoli-Milan.

MILAN – Our look-back at great moments between Napoli-Milan continues with a bitter-sweet episode for the Rossoneri and which took place over 20 years ago.

The date was March 27, 1994. Milan lost 1-0 at the San Paolo, but were won over by the goal-scoring performance from Paolo Di Canio.

The Rossoneri still went on to win the Scudetto, the club’s 14th, and after his stunning goal, Di Canio earned a move to Milan the following season.

To continue, another striker has played his part in the history’s fixture too, but on January 4, 1998.

On that date, Maurizio Ganz opened his account for the club in Serie A in a 2-1 victory at the San Paolo.

Leonardo broke the deadlock before Ganz added a second for Milan. Bellucci pulled one back for the home side.
